At long last version 7.0 of merp.com has finally been launched! YOU CAN STILL ACCESS THE OLD SITE AT HTTP://OLD.MERP.COM however old.merp.com is "frozen" you will no longer be able to add/remove any content or make any forum postings on the old site. YOU WILL NEED TO RE-REGISTER YOUR ACCOUNT on the new site.
New Merp.com Website Nears Launch
Merp.com has been running on it's current software version since 2004. It has been showing it's age now for some time. We are finally overhauling and moving the site to a much more modern version of the same server software (Zope / Plone) at long last. We hope to make the "switch" this coming weekend around May 9th. There are a number of caveats folks should be aware of, so please read the rest of this article to prepare yourself for the transition...
